SARA EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING
March
18, 2003
President Eddie Mar-tin called us to order at
9:55 p.m.
(One
correction was made to the last Ex. Com minutes. The name of the contact person
form heather Campbell to Eddie Martin w3as changed. Not the address of SARA.
Treasurer
Vivia Martin reported that we had $2,403.80 as of 2-27-03. She also noted that
our insurance company wanted to know if we would like to add insurance on our
equipment in case of a terrorist attack. The cost would be S18 per year. We voted
not to add this coverage.
It was noted that Ed Neely, and Joe Rubin
asked to be removed Ex Com.
These programs are scheduled:
April 15 – Hans Napfel will do a
program on the new digital AM radio starting to appear.
May 20 - Eddie Martin will talk about the
equipment and use of the radio room at memorial hospital.
June 17- Charles Michael will present a
program on digital photography.
July 15 - Eddie Martin will talk about our
repeater.
Donald
Fritinger has a backup program on video that is about antennas.
Elmer
Dickson will seek to schedule a program about aviation radios used by the local
Air Patrol.
We adjourned by 10:39 p.m.
